Kids have it good in Qatar. For the expatriate children especially, Doha is a great place to grow up and experience life in a way they would not necessarily have been able to back in their country of origin. Qatari’s love children and this is reflected in the numerous parks and malls made available with families in mind. Generally you will find that most kids in Qatar are involved in several after school clubs and activities which keep them busy, the choices are endless.

Great emphasis however is placed on education and sports; and there are some exciting out of school programs available in both these areas such as Qtel’s Internet City, and Evolution Soccer for both boys and girls of all ages.

Most of the 4 & 5 star hotels offer kids clubs and special promotions at  a reasonable cost.

Shopping complexes in Doha have entire play areas and amusement attractions dedicated to kids, and offer a variety of games, and rides. Circus Land at the Landmark Shopping Mall, Jungle Zone at Hyatt Plaza, and Toby’s Adventure Land at The Mall all comprise of various activities. Located in the City Centre Doha, is the Winter Wonderland amusement park which offers ice-skating, bowling alleys, and a water park. On the entertainment front, City Centre also has X-treme World which features innovative games, sports and rides.

Festivals and theatre productions for children take place in Doha, and there are constantly new activities which become available, one of the more recent additions being the Adrenaline Zone Paintball Club.
