 Al Khulaifat park
Location: Near Doha Club, Ras Abu Abood Street

A great grassy picnic spot with a few trees for shady respite. This relatively small park, located just before the Doha Club at the southern end of the Corniche, is well-maintained and full of flowers, which is a real rarity in Doha. A very picturesque park that provides good photographic opportunities. It has architectural elements like a bridge, gates and watchtowers, which are new but are built in the old traditional style especially known to the Middle East.

 Al Muntazah Park
Location: Al Muntazah

With no entrance fees, Al-Muntazah Park situated at the corner of the C-ring road is one of the older parks in Doha and has large grassy areas and full-grown trees offering ample shade. Located at the corner of the C-ring Road and Al-Muntazah Street, this park is popular with all especially during the weekends and holidays. It is currently under renovation.

 Al-Khor Gardens
Location: Al Khor

40km north of Doha, Just a few miles up the road from the town of Al Khor you will find this desert oasis. The Al Khor garden is a great location for a picnic lunch or dinner, especially during the cooler months. It is more of a large park than any kind botanical exhibit but it is a nice lush green spot to stroll around. Entrance is free of charge. It is a large family oriented park with slides and swings for kids and numerous trees to relax under. Though currently the gardens have been left unattended so not many people make the trip any more.

 Dalal al Hamam Park
Location: Madinat Khalifa North

The municipality has been hard at work improving the facilities at all of Doha's parks, and Dalal al Hamam Park situated at the corner of Arab League Street and Al Markiyah Street, is no exception. As with most other parks in the city it is open to families only and the entrance is at no charge. With ongoing plans to have cafes, toilets, playgrounds, football pitches, cycle tracks and even a showground with seating, it will be well lit up with floodlights at night. Currently, the park has plenty of greenery with palm trees and open grassy areas.

 Museum Park
Location: Near Qatar National Museum

Housed in the lovingly restored palace for the governors of Qatar, originally built in 1912 and now the Qatar National Museum. Overlooking the Corniche and Doha Port, this large grassy area provides plenty of shade and places to sit and enjoy a picnic.

 North Corniche Park
Location: Near Sheraton Hotel - Doha Corniche

North of the Corniche, just before the Sheraton Hotel, this is another quaint park with excellent views of Doha Bay. With ample parking and a snack and refreshment stall this is an ideal place for the family to spend an evening.

 Rumeilah Park (Al Bidda Park)
Location: Doha Corniche

Along the waterfront promenade of the Doha Corniche, it is a beautifully landscaped park that tends to be busiest on weekdays and in the evenings. Full of greenery, it also has an open-air theatre (used by performers from all over the world during the annual Cultural Festival), an art gallery (open from 9 to 12 in the morning and 4 to 9 in the evening), rides for children, as well as a half pipe for skate boarders. It also has a few shops and a cafeteria that serves snacks and beverages. The Heritage Village, constructed to resemble a traditional Qatari village, lies at one end of the park and gives you a glimpse into life in Qatar earlier. Entrance to the park is free and reserved for families only.
