Classes: Adults meet 9am-12 noon on Mon, at the Al Jazi Clubhouse, Juniors (ages 7 and upwards) meet 4-6 pm on Tues, at the French Cultural center. Cost: Adults QR33 per hour, juniors QR25 per hour. French artist Li Chevallier, a member of the French National Fine Art society, teaches the only dedicated art class available in Doha. All levels are welcome to join her mixed media painting tuition in contemporary fields, which include collage, composition, perspectives, colour theory and canvas preparation.

The Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) which functions under the aegis of Indian Embassy in Qatar is poised to start new courses at its premises on D Ring road. The courses that start immediately are Karnatic Vocal and Spoken Arabic Classes. In addition to this, admissions are on for on-going classes in Dance (Classical and Western), Karate, Chess, Yoga, Key Board, Guitar and Violin. All courses are offered at nominal rates and on days and timings given the general convenience of prospective attendees and are conducted by instructors who have vast experience and calibre in their respective disciplines.
