Driving is the easiest way to get around in Qatar. The roads are well connected and there are lots of opportunities to go exploring off road if you have a four wheel drive. Most of the roads that connect the main cities are dual carriageways, though there is still a lot of construction going on and you have to keep a look out for the many diversions.

Gas Stations abound in Doha but are not very frequent on the highways connecting the other cities so you should fuel up before you head out of Doha.

Driving in the city can be a little daunting at first but with a little practice you get used to it.
