I am also new in Qatar and also looking for same information. What are the timings for Sehar here and can we get any Ramadan Calendarsort of thing from anywhere. Which store has the best prices during Ramadan.

 Qatar is like any other gulf country during Ramadan... Work timings are reduced to about 6 hours a day,  and during the day, till the sun sets you are not allowed to eat or drink in public,  you will find most of the restaurants closed or only open for delivery. During the evening and nights most of the stores are open pretty late.. and as the weather gets better you will see alot of people about  quite late... You will even find a lot of sales on.. and if you like trying out different food this is a good time to check out some iftar buffets...   have to warn you though that traffic at peak hours, 8 to 9 in the morn, 2 to 3 in the afternoon, and the time of the evening prayer when the fast is broken is pretty bad... and tempers flare quite easily.. so take it easy on the road.

 and just adding more info to lee reply....u can get timing for the prayer and sehar from any mosque and from any bookstore...shops open till late night and the got sale during ramadan.... 

 thanks lee for the info, and what al-rais said that shop's will be open late night... people said that restaurants will be close during the day time... is there any food shops or any snack shops open at this time???

 well... i think some restaurants on hotels are open.....

Carefour and Lulu are open during the day

some resturants are open but their working hours get changed. But I would prefer you carry your own lunch. you might need to search for a while to get any restaurants.
