| Last October and November, GLAM had the best Monday nights in town, with DJ Joe Mitri playing the latest mix at The Pearl Lounge Club, Marriott Doha. The GLAM-est ladies received a fashion phone, annual subscriptions and merchandized items from GLAM, professional photo shoot from Kodak, gift vouchers from Paris Nails, and a modeling portfolio from Attitude. The Pearl Lounge Club also gave free welcome drinks to all ladies; while Fitness First lead the Salsa dancing and gave away Fitness starter packs and guest passes to the gym. Once again, GLAM, Qatar’s Fashion Title, will be partying at The Pearl Lounge Club, Marriott Doha, on Monday, December 14, 2009, from 9:00 PM. Those who would love to be seen should definitely be in this party! |

Featuring riders in traditional wear riding horses of Arabian Lineage. Camel Dressage - 14th and 15th December, from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Final Arda - 16th December, between 8:00am and noon. One the Qatar's folk dances performed with drums and canes in tune with poetic verses. Also featuring photographic exhibitions, local handicrafts, local handicrafts, traditional food festivals. |

| QATAR CHAIN REACTION is pleased to announce it's second Mountain Biking Event. The first race starts at 9:00am, registration from 8:00am. Race fee is QAR20. The Race Categories are different from the first race. They will have both technical and nontechnical categories to cater for all. The Mountain Biking Event Categories are: Non-technical: 1, Open for all ages (5 laps ~ 16kms) 2. Under 15's (2 laps ~ 7 kms) Technical (5 laps ~ 16kms) Helmets, gloves and eyewear are mandatory. Pre-registration is encouraged; please email your name and the category you will be participating in. Volunteers - very much needed for preparing the course and the morning of the race, as well as helping out during the race. |

Hip-Hop and R&B open air festival - German-Qatari Cultural Weeks

| The first hip-hop and R&B; open air festival in Doha with some of Germany’s top artistes performing at the Aspire Zone. Hip-hop artiste Massiv, songstress Bintia, MC Beirut, singer Kéyali Mayaga and Trak from the local music scene, as well as the internationally renowned DJ Desue and local breakdance crew “M-Deez” will be performing. The concert begins at 6pm and is a free outdoor event for all ages and part of the embassy’s five-week-long cultural festival “German-Qatari Cultural Weeks”. | |
