partners, contractors and the Qatar Cycling Federation are
looking forward to support the Qatar National Cancer Society
during the second RLC Charity Bike Ride and Carnival. Bring your
families to the Al Khor Community Beach Club for an enjoyable
day filled with beach games, activities and support the cancer

Qatar federal association is hosting the Qatar Athletic Super Grand Prix which will be held on May 9th at Qatar Sports Club.It is a 1 day event only.
200 athletes will take part. There are12 events for men and 9 for women. Qatar will have 16 athletes competing. The majority of athletes taking part in the event will also be seen at the Olympics in Beijing later this year.

QATAR Diabetes Association (QDA) in collaboration with Aspire
Academy for Sports Excellence will organise the second diabetes
prevention camp for the youth from April 2 to 8 at the Youth
Hostel Association, Aspire.
Among the camp participants are 25 obese adolescents with
first degree family history of diabetes and high body mass index
(BMI) values.
The objective of the camp is to introduce the youngsters to the
benefits of embracing a healthy lifestyle as a means of
preventing obesity and diabetes, which are both widespread in
the country.
The programme consists of providing a healthy reduced calorie
diet and an active exercise schedule to initiate weight loss,
including football, basketball, volleyball, walking and swimming.
