Ever since 1998, the Doha Golf Club has hosted the prestigious Qatar Masters tournament, now sponsored by Commercialbank and held in January as part of the European and Asian PGA tours schedule. Each year many of the world's top golfers compete on the Club's unique and challenging desert-type Championship Course measuring 7,374 yards from the tournament tees and designed by Peter Harradine, one of the world's leading golf course architects.

The event has been the traditional opening round of the FIA Middle East Rally Championship series for several years and slick organisation by the Doha-based QMMF have given the event the reputation as the leading round of the prestigious regional rally series. The race will start at the start podium of the Qtel Qatar International Rally on Doha’s Corniche on Thursday afternoon at 3.30pm. The revised two-day, all-desert, special stage rally has competitors from the GCC and as far afield as Australia, the UK, Ireland, Italy and France.

Part of the ATP World Tour, this will be the 18th edition of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open.  Matches start at 3:00pm and there will be 4 matches played at the Center Court. Tickets can be booked online or at the Qatar ExxonMobil Open kiosks in most of the malls.

Camel Dressage - 14th and 15th December, from 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Final Arda - 16th December, between 8:00am and noon.
One the Qatar's folk dances performed with drums and canes in tune with poetic verses.

Also featuring photographic exhibitions, local handicrafts, local handicrafts, traditional food festivals.

QATAR CHAIN REACTION is pleased to announce it's second Mountain Biking Event. The first race starts at 9:00am, registration from 8:00am. Race fee is QAR20.
The Race Categories are different from the first race. They will have both technical and nontechnical categories to cater for all. The Mountain Biking Event Categories are:

Non-technical:
1, Open for all ages (5 laps ~ 16kms)
2. Under 15's (2 laps ~ 7 kms)

Technical (5 laps ~ 16kms)
3. Ladies
4. Open - all ages to 39 plus most competitive riders
5. Masters - ages 40 and above
6. Kids COURSE (~1km)


Helmets, gloves and eyewear are mandatory.
Pre-registration is encouraged; please email your name and the category you will be participating in.

Volunteers - very much needed for preparing the course and the morning of the race, as well as helping out during the race.

Harley Owners Group of Qatar is coordinating and arranging for holding the first Tuned Motorcycle Competition (Qatar Motor Show), this, and with the support and cooperation of Qatar Racing Club headed by H.H Sheikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Thani the event will be merged with the Drag Race Finalies event expected to be held on the 4th of December 2009 at the Qatar Racing Club in the Industrial Area from 03:00 pm to 08:00 pm. It's an open invitation to everyone.
