first degree family history of diabetes and high body mass index
(BMI) values.
The objective of the camp is to introduce the youngsters to the
benefits of embracing a healthy lifestyle as a means of
preventing obesity and diabetes, which are both widespread in
the country.
The programme consists of providing a healthy reduced calorie
diet and an active exercise schedule to initiate weight loss,
including football, basketball, volleyball, walking and swimming.

VCUQatar Presents Annual Fashion Show
Doha, Qatar, VCU Qatar presents its Ninth Annual Fashion Show which is open to the public on May 7, 2008 at 7pm. Inspired by glitz and glamour, the theme for this year’s show that promises to bring the audience to a halt is ‘Bling’. A door close at 6.45 pm and seating is on a ‘first come first seated’ basis.
