In keeping with tradition, Grand Hyatt Doha has lined up Ramadan activities in its lounge and various restaurants. The Grill presents an elaborate Iftar buffet of widely recognised Arabic, Oriental and Western dishes prepared in three interactive open plan kitchens. The buffet is refreshed for Suhoor and is available from 8:30pm to 1:00am. Similarly, a large selection of authentic Arabic hot and cold mezze, pastries and traditional beverages is prepared for Suhoor in Biscotti, the Al Maha Lounge and Rocca from 8:30pm to 1:00am. The six-week long event has scheduled music, dance, aerobics, bowling, scrabble, swimming, karate, chess, carom, badminton, table tennis, creative writing, dramatics, debates, Spelling Bee, art and craft, painting, nib-painting, clay modeling and recreational mathematics as well as visits to the Qatar National Museum, dairy farm, water bottling company and Jungle Zone.
